The British vocal ensemble returns with a stellar collaboration, performing songs from their beloved repertoire and works by two renowned composers – Dan Forrest and Ola Gjeilo.
Under the baton of conductors Barnaby Smith and Irene Messoloras, the concert opens with Vox Anima London Singers performing five works by Dan Forrest, with Forrest at the piano. VOCES8 joins them for let me listen and Auld Lang Syne prior to taking the stage alone for a selection of their repertoire. Vox Anima London Singers returns to perform three works by Ola Gjeilo: Sunrise Mass, performed with string orchestra, followed by Tundra and Alleluia with VOCES8, with Gjeilo at the piano.
Conceived by Vox Anima London’s Founder and Artistic Director James Meaders, When Stars Align… celebrates these two outstanding composers and unites professional and amateur musicians from across the world on this iconic stage.
